We are getting in touch to make you aware of a change to how patients will be able to request on the day appointments as of this coming Monday 26th April. The surgery has seen a significant increase in on the day requests and subsequently we want to ensure we can continue to provide safe and efficient services to all our patients appropriately.
If you feel you need an appointment sooner than the next available telephone call then you will need to complete the online consult form following this link – https://www.online-consult.co.uk/org/haresfield-surgery. These come through to the surgery electronically and one of our Doctors or advanced clinicians will review the form and we will be back in touch to confirm how we will be able to help you with your care.
If you would like to speak to a clinician about an ongoing medical concern then please be aware that there are pre-bookable telephone appointments available to book up to 6 weeks in advance. Availability of these can be dependent on particular clinicians and their working patterns but we will endeavour enable patients to book in advance with their regular doctor or clinician.
Whilst we acknowledge that any changes to appointments can bring challenges, we request that patients are respectful of this new process. If you are unable to access the form then please call our reception team who will be able to advise you further, including if you have a home visit request and emergency then call via the dedicated phone line.
